September 2006
Federico Mondelci in September 2006 was invited to perform with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra the new Concerto written for him by new zealand composer John Psathas. Federico Mondelci received a new invitation for the season 2008. (see reviews page).

Turku Music Festival, Finland 11th August 2006
Federico Mondelci appeared as soloist with the Moscow Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Constantine Orbelian. The concert, live broadcast on TV, includes works by Glazunov and Molinelli.

25th November 2006
Federico Mondelci performed as soloist with the Moscow Chamber Orchestra at the Tchaikovsky Philhamonic Hall in Moscow. The concert was soldout and the hall invited him for a replica of the concert on April 18th 2007. Program includes Glazunov Saxophone Concerto 0p.109 and R.Molinelli – Four Pictures From New York written for Federico Mondelci.

New Silver Age Music Festival - St. Petersburg, YusupovPalace 27th November 2006
Federico Mondelci performed “Night Prayers” by Giya Kancheli for saxophone and string orchestra and met the composer. Kancheli is going to write a new piece for him.

October-November concerts with orchestras included major works of the classical saxophone repertoire by Jacques Ibert Concertino da Camera and Alexandr Glazunov Concerto op. 109.

December 2006 – March 2007
The concert tour in this period includes Russia, Ukraine, Israel, USA, Thailand, Italy.
